About us

We started Heartwarming during our first winter in Reno, Nevada. Coming from Florida, we felt incredibly unprepared for the freezing temperatures. While we pulled our jackets snug, we saw many less fortunate individuals who endured sub-freezing temperatures in Reno's windy winters.

We started by collecting gently used warm clothing from my school during spring cleaning. What started as a small effort has grown into something meaningful. We are incredibly grateful to have collected over 500 articles of clothing from our amazing partners. 

We are thankful to partner with Park Place Student Housing for the University of Nevada, and the Davidson Academy of Nevada to gather donations.
